Hard Sell

As a marketing professional I have adopted the art of using glossy words to describe something very sedate / regular. Especially when it comes to reporting something to the people at the top.. All products are “top of the line” …. every person is either a “maverick” or “versatile ” 😆 Sometimes it sounds so exaggerated and Over the top even to my ears.. but such are the demands of a job which demands you to evoke people’s interest while playing with words to charm and entice them to notice your company’s services / products. Now what i really need to learn is stop being reticent and sell my work , its easier said than done for someone who’se preferred the self deprecatory mode for ages now.. People often confuse a self deprecatory tone for lack of confidence / conviction..  its become a necessity to shout from the rooftop !!
