Deja Vu

Often we have a sense of deja vu when our responses mimic our parents’….It is a strange thing …we spend our adolescence trying to tell ourselves  and everyone around us how we are not merely our parents’ children but are individuals in our own right. We rebel, we defy just to tell the world ” We are unique”.. But as the years pass the realization dawns on us that there is an uncanny resemblance between our lives and our parents’ lives.  The  choices we make, how we react to situations inevitably end up emulating  the people who shaped our lives .The harder we fight the similarities, there are greater chances that we will react the way they did..
