Virtual Connections

Twitter, facebook, delicious , secondlife…all of us lean on these means to connect with friends , family and even random strangers.. in this drive to be perpetually connected with people across the globe aren’t we losing out on time to connect with ourselves ??  Our friends on twitter would be aware of what’s happening in our lives every moment..but we seldom care to find time to greet the co worker sitting  in the adjacent cubicle or a next door neighbour…who has the time… I don’t mean to undermine the power of collaborative technologies [ they do help me keep me employed after all ;-)]  its just a feeble attempt at contemplating over how we  seem to be forgetting the personalised way of relating and would rather communicate at the click of a mouse ….. what do you think ???
